<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function of reducing the time and labor of a character input in a small-sized device in which the number of character input keys is limited such as a PDA and a portable telephone especially by automatically switching a mode. <P>SOLUTION: In an information processor provided with a character input function in which a kind of characters inputted by key input is switched by an input mode, when an inputted character string is registered in an input mode switching table where an input mode switching object character string and a succeeding input mode are registered in correspondence, the input mode is switched to the succeeding input mode registered corresponding to the object character string. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
