PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress degradation in conductivity and transparency caused by coaguration, deterioration or the like on a metallic thin film layer of a transparent conductive thin film laminate having the metallic thin film layer. SOLUTION: The transparent conductive thin film laminate is composed of a transparent substrate (A), a transparent thin film layer with high refractive index (a), and a metallic thin film layer (b). The contacting angle between the uppermost surface of the transparent conductive thin film laminate and deionized water is controlled to be 1°or more and 70°or less. The optical filter in this invention does not easily generate flocculation of silver atoms in silver or in the metallic thin film layer containing silver of a transparent conductive thin film laminate portion constituting the optical filter under an environment where chloride ions exist. Thus, the transparent conductive thin film laminate has the advantage that a dot-like defect due to silver aggregation does not occur when used as an optical filter. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
