PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static eliminator with a simple configuration for reliably eliminating static in a sheet type material, an insulating material and a conductive member, without requiring a complex manufacturing process or device structure. SOLUTION: The static eliminator comprises means for capturing electric charges and means for converting the captured electric charges into heat energy without discharging the captured electric charges to outside.
