PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent new lubricating oil from degrading and improve reliability by installing a freezer of a new refrigerant by utilizing existing pipes of a freezer for using an old refrigerant and by securely separating and collecting old lubricating oil remaining in the existing piping. SOLUTION: A brine tank 6, connected between a compressor 1 and a condenser 2, for heat-exchanging with the new refrigerant discharged from the compressor 1 and a first electromagnetic valves 7, 8 connected to between the condenser and a decompressor 3 for switching a flow passage of the new refrigerant flowing out of the brine tank 6 to the condenser or the decompressor, and a second electromagnetic valve 10, connected to between an evaporator 4 and a vapor-liquid separator 5 together with an oil separating means 11, for switching a flow passage for making the new refrigerant for flowing out from the evaporator to flow into the oil separating means or a flow passage to flow into the oil separating means via another decompressor and the brine tank are provided in the freezer using the new refrigerant and the new lubricating oil by utilizing refrigerant piping 13, 14 of a freezing cycle in which the old refrigerant and the old lubricating oil are used.
