PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve stability in starting a gas engine while economizing an auxiliary fuel gas. SOLUTION: The fuel gas supplying device for supplying a main fuel gas (methane) and an auxiliary fuel gas (propane) to a gas engine 100 comprises a valve 8 for stopping the supply of the auxiliary fuel gas to the gas engine 100, a concentration sensor 14 for detecting the concentration of the main fuel gas, and a controller 20 for controlling a valve 3. The controller 20 controls the valve 3 for the auxiliary fuel gas according to the concentration of the main fuel gas detected by the concentration sensor 14 when the gas engine 100 is started. When the concentration of the main fuel gas exceeds a predetermined value, it is possible to economize the auxiliary fuel gas by starting the gas engine 100 with the main fuel gas.
