TIRE AIR PRESSURE DETECTION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous action caused by variation of air pressure due to lowering of external atmospheric temperature and to generate an accurate air pressure alarm in a tire air pressure detection device. SOLUTION: The tire air pressure detection device is provided with a tire air pressure detection means 2 for detecting a tire air pressure of a vehicle; a transmitting means 3 for transmitting a detection pressure information; a receiving means 4 for receiving the detection pressure information; a memory means 10 for renewing and memorizing the detection pressure information; an alarm means 6 for warning lowering of the tire air pressure; a determination means 22 for determining requirement of the alarm in responsive to the former determination history; and a control means 21 for controlling so as to generate the alarm by the alarm means 6 when it is determined that the alarm is required. The determination means 22 does not determine the requirement of the alarm when an engine switch of the vehicle is off and determines the requirement of the alarm based on the detection pressure information memorized in the memory means 10 and the former determination history when the engine switch of the vehicle is on.
