PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a method for efficiently proliferating bamboo grass. SOLUTION: This method for proliferating the bamboo grass is characterized by culturing the bamboo grass under a darkened environment until inducing the shoot, proliferating the bamboo grass section under the darkened environment, and forming the roots from the proliferated sections under continuous illumination.
