PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cloth for a fireproof screen, which prevents the generation of noxious gas even when heated, in addition to the possession of the function of shutting off a flame and smoke. SOLUTION: This cloth for the fireproof screen, in which a polymeric film is laminated on at least one surface of an inorganic fiber cloth via an adhesive, is characterized in that the polymeric film is a polyethylene terephthalate resin film which does not contain a halogen.
