SMALL-SIZED GRIPPER INSTALLED FLEXIBLE GRIPPING METALLIC STRIP

PURPOSE: A small-sized gripper of a weaving machine contains a flexible gripping metallic strip improved vertical size and operating efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A small-sized gripper of a weaving machine comprises: a main body(101) fixed on a gripper installation strap; a fixed board(104) and a flexible gripping strip(103) which are installed on the gripper installation strap, holding weft and operating each other; the gripping strip(103) compressed on the fixed gripping board(104) by an elastic device(105); and a control lever(V) containing a control member(V1). An end of the control member(V1) is fixed on the gripping strip(103), the other end thereof is operated with a connecting unit unified with the weaving machine. The gripping strip(103) is fixed on a cantilever holding rack(110) formed on a side of the main body(101) in a lateral direction. The control lever(V) is adhered under the gripping strip(103) and is extended rearward under the rack(110).
