<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chronograph timepiece having a thin movement in which a chronograph mechanism and a calendar mechanism are constituted so as not to overlap. <P>SOLUTION: The chronograph timepiece has a plate, a front train wheel, and an escapement and regulating device. The timepiece is equipped with a base unit having at least one of an automatic winding device; and a manual winding device and a chronograph unit 300 having a second indicating mechanism, a second chronograph train wheel, a minute chronograph train wheel, an hour chronograph train wheel, and a date feeding mechanism. The chronograph unit 300 is disposed on the side a dial from the base unit. The calendar mechanism includes a date indicator 376 and the date feeding mechanism 372. The date feeding mechanism 372 is disposed so as to overlap none of the second indicating mechanism 352, the second chronograph train wheel 330, the minute chronograph train wheels 340, 341, and 342, and the hour chronograph train wheels 330 and 332. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
