PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic control device for stopping an electric vehicle at a fixed position, capable of ensuring its stoppage precision, without the need for frequently switching the brake notches. SOLUTION: This automatic control device for stopping the electric vehicle at the fixed position comprises a brake characteristics data retention part for retaining brake characteristics data, such as deceleration of the respective brake notches of the electric vehicle, wasteful time for brake notch switching, and response delay time for switching the brake notches, and a current electric vehicle data acquisition means for acquiring current data, such as the current speed, the position and brake notches of the electric vehicle.
