MONITOR CAMERA SYSTEM AND MONITORING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor camera system capable of immediately and exactly grasping the size of an imaging object while observing the imaged video. SOLUTION: In an imaging apparatus 401, a CCD 4011 and a CCD 4012 generate two imaging signals by simultaneously photographing the object 104 from different angles and provide the signals to an arithmetic unit 402. The arithmetic unit 402 provides a display device 403 with a superposition imaging signal formed by superposing the two imaging signals and size information of the imaging object 104 calculated from the superposition imaging signal. The display device 403 displays a three-dimensional video corresponding to the superposition imaging signal received from the arithmetic unit 402 and the size information of the imaging object 104 received from the arithmetic unit 402 by superposing them.
