PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system capable of grasping the state of an aged person living alone at a low cost and easily calling an urgent contact destination. SOLUTION: When communication equipment 100 transmits an e-mail to communication equipment 500, the communication equipment 500 attaches image information photographed by an imaging part to the e-mail and transmits the e-mail to the communication equipment 100. On the other hand, the urgent contact destination is displayed while the received image information is displayed on a display part of the communication equipment 100 which receives the image information and a call is performed to the selected urgent contact destination by selecting the displayed urgent contact destination by a user of the communication equipment 100.
