PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for arranging a sheet member which can deter an air bubble from being left between a 1st or 2nd surface and the sheet member and a display device equipped with the sheet member. SOLUTION: The display device (display device for vehicle) 1 is equipped with a display unit 2 which is housed in a case body (housing) 3 having an opening part (1st opening part)3d, a protection member 4 which is arranged in the opening part 3d opposite the display unit 2, and the elastic sheet member 5 which is arranged between the 1st surface of the display unit 2 and the 2nd surface of the protection member 4.
