PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for evaporating drain water irrespective of an operation condition of a compressor and treat drain water securely to improve reliability of a refrigerator. SOLUTION: A freezing machine unit 20 of the refrigerator is arranged on a storage unit to cool a space in the refrigerator in the storage unit. Drain water generated in an evaporator 44 is fed to a water receiving tray 62 from a drain pan 60 in the freezing machine unit 20. The water receiving tray 62 is arranged in an air passage 35 outside the refrigerator. The drain water on the water receiving tray 62 is heated by both of high temperature refrigerant flowing in a meandering part 52 and the air outside the refrigerator flowing in the air passage 35 outside the refrigerator and evaporates during operation of the compressor 41. Even when the compressor 41 stops, the drain water on the water receiving tray 62 is heated by the air outside the refrigerator flowing in the air passage 35 outside the refrigerator and evaporates.
