PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to drive a rotary cutter and a paper ejecting device by only a single driving motor (a driving motor 11 for cutting) and to provide the paper ejecting device of the rotary cutter whose cost can be reduced and whose ejecting operations can be stabilized. SOLUTION: When a sheet of paper (a tag sheet 7) is cut by a movable blade 10 and a fixed blade 9, an ejecting roller (a driving roller 15 for ejection) is not allowed to rotate but is allowed to rotate after completion of cutting of the sheet 7 by the movable blade 10 and the fixed blade 9. An ejecting pulley 21 which is allowed to rotate by a driving motor 11 is provided. The ejecting pulley 21 does not allow the ejecting roller 15 to rotate when the sheet 7 is cut by the movable blade 10 and the fixed blade 9 but allows the ejecting roller 15 to rotate after completion of cutting of the sheet 7 by the movable blade 10 and the fixed blade 9 and allows single pieces of cut sheet 7 to be transferred.
