PURPOSE: A video sequence watermarking method, a watermarking detecting method and apparatus, and a computer program are provided to insert a watermark into at least one motion vector, minimize transformation of the watermarked motion vector, and detect a watermark from a watermarked video sequence rapidly. CONSTITUTION: At least one watermarking bit is inserted into at least one motion vector acquired between two images of a video sequence through motion estimation, to obtain at least one watermarked motion vector(12,13,14). The motion vector is identified by coordinates thereof in a reference space and divided into two supplementary regions. The supplementary regions respectively have specific binary values. When the watermarking bit is inserted into the motion vector, the coordinates of the motion vector are modified such that the motion vector is located in a binary value region corresponding to the watermarking bit. While the modification is carried out, at least two potentially watermarked motion vectors are determined(15), and the optimally watermarked motion vector is selected from the watermarked motion vectors. |
