IMAGE FORMING METHOD AND ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC DEVELOPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming an image with high uniformity in a solid without depending on the smoothness of a transfer member, and to provide a method for forming the image with high density and high resolution. SOLUTION: The method is carried out in steps of: (a) squeezing out a developing solution layer with a squeezing member from layers of a toner image held on a toner developed image holding member and developed with a liquid developer and the developing solution layer covering the toner image; (b) applying a voltage on the toner image in a non-contact state from a voltage application member with the voltage applied; (c) transferring the toner image to an intermediate transfer member; and further (d) transferring the toner image onto transfer paper.
