PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner wherein only a first heat exchanger 6a is coated with a low-temperature deodorizing catalyst 9, with respect to the indoor machine of the air conditioner comprising an indoor heat exchanger 6 composed of the first heat exchanger 6a functioned as a condenser in a dehumidifying operation, and a second heat exchanger 6b functioned as an evaporator in the dehumidifying operation. SOLUTION: This indoor unit of the air conditioner can exercise the sufficient deodorizing performance while keeping the heat exchanging performance, in particular, has the superior formaldehyde deodorizing characteristic.
