PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a liquid cosmetic having good color development and free from the problems of e.g. the blurring of a drawn line caused by clogging, in the case of using as an applicator containing the cosmetic and having a fiber wick, a writing brush tip, a ballpoint pen tip or a porous material. SOLUTION: Not less than 90% of solid particles in the liquid cosmetic has a particle diameter of≤0.6μm and the number-average particle diameter of the solid particles is 0.06-0.4μm.
