PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding material melting furnace of a molten metal molding machine capable of rapidly and uniformly melting pulverized solid metal, and supplying pure molten metal containing no impurities to an injection molding apparatus. SOLUTION: The molding material melting furnace of the molten metal molding machine comprises a melting furnace body 51 to store molten molding material, an introduction pipe to supply solid molding material into the melting furnace body 51, and an immersion device 55 to immerse the supplied solid molding material in the molten molding material.
