PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the number of examination cases per unit of time by shortening the preparatory time for examinees in X-ray CT examination. SOLUTION: While an examinee on a first bed 1 is taking an X-ray CT examination, another examinee prepares for his or her turn in a second changing room and lies on a second bed 2. After the examination of the first examinee is over, the first bed 1 is moved to a first changing room, while the second bed 2 is moved to the X-ray CT examination room to successively carry out the examination of the second examinee. All the walls of each room meet the shielding standard for radioactive protection in structure. Since the examinations can be continuously carried out, followed by one after another in the X-ray CT examination room, the number of examination cases per unit of time can be increased.
