The present invention provides a combination of (a) eletriptan, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and (b) sodium bicarbonate. The combination provides a rapid absorption of eletriptan when taken orally. The combination is useful for the treatment or prevention of a disease for which a 5-HT1, agonist is indicated, particularly for the treatment of migraine or f or the prevention of migraine recurrence.
