CONTROL DEVICE OF AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION AND CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a favorable clutch-to-clutch speed changing feeling without requiring complicated tuning.

SOLUTION: This control method of an automatic transmission includes a step S500 to output indication to sweep down fastening force of a disengaging side clutch C3 and to sweep up fastening force of an engaging side brake B2 when a torque phase is started (YES at S400), a step S600 to detect the predetermined timing before rising until the fastening force of the engaging side brake B2 can transmit torque input to the automatic transmission only by the engaging side brake B2 after the torque phase is started and a step S700 to output torque down indication of an engine and indication to make the fastening force of the disengaging side clutch C3 zero when it becomes the timing.
