<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer for a thermosensitive recording material which shows outstanding chromogenic sensitivity, water resistance, oil resistance and light resistance which are the same as or above the level of those of a developer using bisphenol A as a raw material, and a method for manufacturing the developer and a thermosensitive recording material. <P>SOLUTION: The developer for the thermosensitive recording material contains a chemical compound represented by formula (1) (wherein, R1 is hydrogen, a 1-6C alkyl group or a substituted or non-substituted phenyl group, a substituted or non-substituted aralkyl group, an alkoxy group or a halogen atom; "n" is an integer of 1 to 4: R2 is hydrogen, a 1-6C alkyl group or a substituted or non-substituted phenyl group, a substituted or non-substituted aralkyl group, an alkoxy group, a hydroxy group or a halogen atom; and "m" is an integer of 1 to 4). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
