PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition for optical semiconductors, homogeneously dispersed with an inorganic compound of high specific gravity without sedimentation, curable in such a homogeneously dispersed state of the inorganic compound even in its sealing step, thus capable of producing optical semiconductor devices with stable optical properties.

SOLUTION: The resin composition for optical semiconductors comprises the inorganic compound and a silane compound of formula(1).
