<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film for a surface light source reflecting plate which can secure high brightness by suppressing the adsorption of visible light while improving its own light resistance and the ability of suppressing the deterioration due to ultraviolet ray in peripheral members by raising the adsorption of ultraviolet rays, and to provide a surface light source reflecting plate using the polyester film. <P>SOLUTION: The polyester film for the surface light source reflecting plate has a polyester film containing cavities as a structural element and contains titanium oxide particles mainly consisted of rutile type ones and, further, the spectral reflectance of the polyester film satisfies the following relations (1) and (2), wherein R<SB>bl</SB>and R<SB>uv</SB>are the spectral reflectances (%) of blue light and ultraviolet ray: R<SB>bl</SB>≥98 (1), R<SB>uv</SB>/R<SB>bl</SB>≤0.80 (2). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
