<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To count electronic votes in the aggregate per polling place even if voting data are distributedly recorded in a plurality of recording mediums. <P>SOLUTION: It is discriminated whether or not a polling place code read from a recording medium 13 is equal to a polling place code of a polling place to which a plural number is set as the number of mediums (S59 in Fig.). Voting data of the recording medium 13 are read (S62), and it is discriminated whether the number of read recording mediums 13 reaches the set number or not (S64). When it reaches the set number, voting data of all the read recording mediums are counted and totalized (S70). Thus voting data in one polling place, which are recorded in the plurality of recording mediums can be counted in the aggregate even in the case that voting data are recorded in the plurality of recording mediums in the polling place due to trouble of a system, defects of recording mediums, or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
