PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmitting/receiving module which is more small-sized and superior in productivity by decreasing the number of components in a module for performing single-core tow-way communication. SOLUTION: An LD 10, a PD 11, an optical path of light from the LD 10, and an optical path altering part 12 which alters the optical path by properly transmitting light to the PD 11 are stored in a package 14. The packet 14 is equipped with a lens 13 which transmits both the light from the LD 10 and the light to the PD 11. This optical path altering part 12 comprises a transmission and reflection part 12a which transmits the light of 1st wavelength from the LD 10 and reflects light of 2nd wavelength from an optical fiber 200, a reflection part 12b which alters the optical path so that the reflected light of 2nd wavelength is reflected and introduced into the PD 11, and a base body 12c equipped with the transmission and reflection part 12a and reflection part 12b.
