PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic layout device that outputs a result of appreciable electromigration resistance without causing an unwanted area increase. SOLUTION: For arraying a plurality of via holes in specified wiring severe in electromigration resistance, the automatic layout device has means for creating a net information file from two kinds of information, or a switching current information file and a switching frequency information file, and deciding the number of via holes according to the net information file.
