PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing system for generating a composite image and capable of attaining a camerawork with a high degree of freedom by using a common controller to control two cameras simultaneously in the case of photographing two images with two cameras and applying blue screening composition to the two images so as to obtain a video image without a sense of incongruity against a change or the like in the field angle. SOLUTION: Cameras C, D are respectively connected to controllers A, B for communication. Further, the controller A is also connected to the camera D via a distributor 10, a signal converter 16, and the controller B for communication. When the controller A is operated, the cameras C, D are controlled so that operations such as panning, tilting, zooming, and focusing of the cameras C, D are coincident with each other.
