WAVE ABSORBER, FORMING MATERIAL AND FORMING BODY THEREFOR AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a wave absorber that is nonflammable and compact. SOLUTION: The wave absorber is provided with a forming body 20 for a wave absorber, a plate-like ferrite sintered body and a metal plate. The forming body 20 is provided with a tile-shaped pedestal 21 and a wedge-shaped crest 22 arranged thereon. The forming body 20 is formed by pouring into a mold a slurry that is a mixture of a forming material for a wave absorber and water, and by hardening the slurry. The forming material contains an inorganic fiber and an inorganic binder, and it has fluidity just after they are mixed with water and it generates a hardening reaction in a range of 1 to 40°C.
