摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner having good anti-hot-offset properties and preservability. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner comprises toner particles consisting essentially of a binder resin, a colorant, a charge control agent and a release agent, wherein the toner particles have a volume average particle diameter (Dv) of 3-10μm, a volume average particle diameter to number average particle diameter (Dp) ratio (Dv/Dp) of 1-1.3 and an average circularity of 0.93-0.995. When the toner particles are embedded in the resin, a section is cut and the toner particle sectional images are photographed through an electron microscope,≥25% by number of toner particle sectional images observed in the resulting photograph and having island shaped separated phases and a toner particle diameter 0.6-1.2 times the volume average particle diameter are occupied by toner particle sectional images in which the maximum diameter of island shaped separated phases is≥1μm and the outermost part of each island shaped separated phase is present from a toner particle surface to a depth 0.01-0.15 times the particle diameter of the toner particle.
