PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developable recording medium having improved handleability and transportability without degrading image performance as compared with a conventional photosensitive material, while taking the environment into consideration. SOLUTION: In the heat developable recording medium including a photosensitive layer containing organic silver salt grains, photosensitive silver halide grains and a reducing agent on one surface of a support, a compound represented by formula: Rf-(L<SB>1</SB>)<SB>m1</SB>-(Y<SB>1</SB>)<SB>n1</SB>-X is contained.
