PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mud removing device for a multi-axis excavator, which removes hardened liquid such as cement milk or in-situ soil adhering to an excavating axis after creation of an element, and therefore maintains the excavating axis in a clean state before starting of creation of the next element, to thereby improve the excavation efficiency of the excavator. SOLUTION: The multi-axis excavator is provided with a steady rest device for the excavating axis. The mud removing mechanism is formed of a jet water ejecting nozzle 11, an elastic plate 12, and an air nozzle 13 sequentially arranged from below. Specifically the jet water ejecting nozzle is arranged below a lower steady rest 8 as the steady rest device, and the elastic plate for mud scraping and the air nozzle are arranged above the steady rest device.
