PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding spindle structure of an opening and closing device for approaching and separating a winding spindle to a winding spindle side extension line of a guide rail by a simple mechanism with the small number of components. SOLUTION: The winding spindle structure of the opening and closing device winds an opening and closing body 10 guided to an opening and closing direction by the guide rail 20 on the winding spindle 30 supported so as to approach and separate it to the winding spindle side extension line of the guide rail 20. The winding spindle structure comprises a fixing member 40 fixed on a building frame M side, and a moving auxiliary means 60 for reducing movement resistance when the winding spindle 30 approaches and separates. A guide part 40a extending to an approaching and separating direction to the winding spindle side extension line is provided on the fixing member 40, and the winding spindle 30 is supported so as to be freely moved to the approaching and separating direction by interposing the moving auxiliary means 60 to be guided to the guide part 40a.
