PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air floatation vehicle easily applicable to larger and heavier carried materials by securing floating capability with a high load capacity and a high spring constant being at least several times those of a conventional system while suppressing the consumption of air. SOLUTION: The air flotation vehicle uses a linear motor 4 for a carriage 1 on which a cassette 5 is mounted to travel along a fixed travel road 2 for carriage. A floating object receiving member 3 is provided in the travelling direction of a fixed travel road surface.
