PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten metal molding machine with a draining device of a simple configuration at low cost which is capable of preventing impairment of the motion of a plunger by solidified molten metal as drain or reaction of molten metal with outside air by adequately discharging the molten metal as drain leaking from a space between an inner surface of an injection cylinder and an outer surface of the plunger outside an injection device. SOLUTION: The molten metal molding machine comprises an injection cylinder 21 to inject molten molding material, a plunger 22 to be moved in a space in the injection cylinder 21, a drain collection groove 34a formed in the space, and a drain storage device 33 of a sealed structure which is communicated with the drain collection groove 34a and stores the discharged drain in a shut-off state from outside air.
