PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cabinet for partition which is simply constructed, which leaves no scars of nails or screws in the case of changing the partition, and which is provided with a shielding device which can eaily cope with the variation of the size of a gap. SOLUTION: In the cabinet for partition, the shielding device 21 disposed on the side face of a casing-state furniture main body 2 consists of: a fixed shielding member 22 in a vertical direction which is provided with a guide groove 24 in the state of a recessed groove opening on an outer lateral side and fixed to the side plate 3a of the furniture main body 2; a movable shielding member 23 in the vertical direction which is inserted to the guide groove 24 of the fixed shielding member 22 in the state of being movable forward and backward in a lateral direction and which is provided with a plurality of female screw holes 34 facing the side plate 3a of the furniture main body 2; and a plurality of screw rods 27 which are rotatably held by the side plate 3a of the furniture body 2 and is inserted into the guide groove 24, and which have their tips threaded into the female screw holes 34 of the movable shielding member 23. The movable shielding member 23 is adjusted to move forward and backward with respect to the fixed shielding member 22 via a screwing operation by the rotating operation of the screw rods 27.
