Thus, a radiation image showing the positional relationship between the irradiation location with the position confirming radiation Xc and the irradiation location with the position confirming beam Lp is recorded in the storage phosphor panel 10. The radiation image is read from the storage phosphor panel 10 by a radiation image reading unit 201. The positional relationship between the irradiation location with the position confirming radiation and the irradiation location with the position confirming beam is acquired by a positional relationship acquiring unit 202 based on the read radiation image.
