PURPOSE: A handle device for opening and closing is provided to prevent the displacement of an upward and downward operation control spring. CONSTITUTION: A handle device for opening and closing comprises a lever(2) which is operated upward and downward, a button(3), and an upward and downward operation control spring(5) elastically supporting the lever. The lever elastically supported on the upward and downward operation control spring becoms upright by the operation of the button. Two spring supporting parts are installed on the front and rear parts of the lower portion of a casing. The spring is elastically deformed, and an elastically supported part(24) of the lever is elastically supported.
