DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CASTING HOLLOW BILLET

PURPOSE: To improve production efficiency and obtain hollow billet having homogeneous micro-structure by fabricating the hollow billet without extrusion process and fabricating the hollow billet without additional processes such as rotation of centrifugal casting. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises a molten metal supply part(10); a receiving and molding part(20) comprising a molten metal inflow port(22) connected to the molten metal supply part so that molten metal supplied from the molten metal supply part flows in the receiving and molding part through the molten metal inflow port, a low wall part(21) for supporting the molten metal flown in the receiving and molding part from a lower side thereof, a side wall part arranged in such a way that the side wall part is erected along the edge part the low wall part, and a cylindrical hollow receiving part which is formed in a central region of the receiving and molding part by the low wall part and the side wall part to contain molten metal flown in, and an upper part of which is opened; and a cooling part(30) for cooling the side wall part to form a hollow pipe shaped solidified cast body having certain thickness from the side wall part to the center of the receiving and molding part by cooling molten metal contacted with the side wall part.
