摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform optical wavelength division multiplexing transmission at a low cost with low power consumption by eliminating the need for temperature control for stabilizing a laser stimulated wavelength. <P>SOLUTION: An optical wavelength division multiplexing transmission network apparatus comprises a wavelength router 109 having N-sets of input ports and N-sets of output ports and M-sets of transmitter-receivers 101 to 104 optically connected to prescribed input/output ports of the wavelength router 109, and the transmission band of the wavelength router 109, the optical demultiplexer 107 and the optical multiplexer 108 of the transmitter-receivers 101 to 104 is set to be a stimulated wavelength shift width or over caused by the temperature variations in a transmission circuit 106 of the transmitter-receivers 101 to 104 and the center wavelength of the transmission band is deviated toward a wavelength longer than an ITU-T grid wavelength. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
