<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shut off element capable of compactly containing a plurality of the shut off elements and facilitating management of quality by improving protection of a portion for seal. <P>SOLUTION: A shut off element 5 consisting of a plug part 51 having seal parts 51a and 51a: and a head part 52 is integrally formed by molding synthetic resin. A protrusion step part 53 having an engaging part 53a is formed in the position of the base end of a plug part 51, and a flange part 52a and containing recessed part 52b are formed in the head part. An inside diameter D1 of the containing recessed part is increased to a value higher than an outside diameter D2 of the seal part. The plug part of one shut off element is inserted in the containing recessed part of the other shut off element and when an engaging part 53a is pushed in lastly, the two shut off elements are compactly combined with each other and at the same time, the seal part is inside protected in a non-contact state. In consecutive order, other shut off elements are assembled together and the desired number of shut off elements is assembled in series. By covering the distal end part of only one exposing plug part with a cap, it can be stored, contained, and carried as it is. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
