<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FM-CW radar shared for transmission and reception and capable of appropriately detecting a target without having to enlarging the dynamic range of a reception part and appropriately processing reception signals according to the distance to the target. <P>SOLUTION: The FM-CW radar apparatus shared for transmission and reception changes over between transmission and reception by time shared control. Signal paths of a transmission system and a reception system are each provided with an amplifier. By controlling the gain of the amplifier provided for the signal path of the reception system or the gain of the amplifier provided for the signal path of the transmission system, gains at front end parts in reception timing sections or front end parts in transmission timing sections are controlled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
