PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-standing bag which can improves maintenance efficiency and carrying efficiency of an empty bag, and prevents a foreign substance from intruding into the empty bag and keeps a sterile condition in a container by a stage for filling a content.

SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing the self-standing bag 10, a bag body 11 made of a synthetic resin is molded in a mold, and the molded bag body 11 is folded, and the opening 12A of the folded bag body 11 is sealed.
