摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a satellite communication receiver capable of continuously carrying out communication by selecting an optimum satellite beam in a short period of time. SOLUTION: The satellite communication receiver 100 is provided with: a BPF 1 for passing only a particular band of a satellite signal; a frequency converter 2 for converting an RF band signal into an IF band signal; a synthesizer 3 for supplying a local signal to the frequency converter 2; a BPF 4 for eliminating an unnecessary component from the signal subjected to the frequency conversion; an A/D converter 5 for converting the IF signal into a digital signal; digital filters 6, 7, 8 for passing through only a particular channel signal; a signal level detector 9 for selecting a channel signal outputted from the digital filters and whose reception level is maximum; a selector 10 for outputting the channel signal component selected by a selection signal from the signal level detector 9; and a demodulator 11 for demodulating data from the channel signal component outputted from the selector 10.
