PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive semiconductor laser device for which the laser power of fiber emission is stabilized and high-speed switching is enabled. SOLUTION: The semiconductor laser device comprises an LD 11, a collimating lens 12 for converting a laser beam oscillated from the LD 11 to collimating light, a cylindrical LD holding frame 15 for holding the LD 11 and the collimating lens 12 along the optical axis of the laser beam, and a Peltier 20 having an opening part 20a near the optical axis 100 of the laser beam for cooling or heating the LD 11 and the collimating lens 12 through the LD holding frame 15. The Peltier 20 is arranged so as to be point symmetrical to the optical axis 100 on a cross section vertical to the optical axis 100 of the laser beam. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
