PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber material and a rubber member having resistance against a DME and LPG. SOLUTION: The subject rubber composition used for forming a member making a contact with dimethyl ether gas or liquid propane gas is characterized by using a copolymer of isobutylene with p-methylstyrene or a halogenated butyl rubber as a base rubber.
