PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an operation requested to a driver when traveling a vehicle at low speed in a traveling control device for the vehicle capable of controlling traveling speed of the vehicle by an operation of an operated member when selecting a low speed traveling mode by the operation of a changeover switch. SOLUTION: A traveling speed control means 11 controls traveling speed of the vehicle to switch forward and backward movements according to the identification result of a voice identification means 12 capable of identifying a voice instruction of a vehicle driver instructing the forward and backward movements of the vehicle.
